1.How to choose classroom teaching or online teaching?
A: There is a new option at the top of page 2 of the registration form. Please check it. It is very important that you choose one.

2.Can the two classes be switched at any time?
A: Under normal circumstances, the class method cannot be changed. If there are changes in the epidemic control policy across the country and throughout BC, we will make corresponding adjustments. We will notify you of any changes as soon as possible.
2.两种上课方式可以随时转换吗？
A: 一般情况下，上课方式不可以转换。如果全国、全BC省在疫情的控制政策上发生变化，我们也会做出相应的调整。有任何变化，我们一定会尽快通知。
3.Will the class I registered definitely form?
A: Whether you can have that certain class depends on the registration. The general principle is: more than 4 people (including 4 people) can form classes. In addition, due to the current government regulations on social distance, our class size cannot exceed 12 people, so depending on the number of applicants, we may increase the number of classes in the same grade (such as second grade A, B, C, etc.), Classroom teaching classes are the same as online teaching classes. We will first arrange the children into class A (12 places) according to the order of registration. The class time of classes B and C may be adjusted. We appreciated your understanding for the special situation this year.
Please note: If the number of enrollment is not enough, a certain Mandarin level will be cancelled, especially for senior level students, please register as soon as possible. This happens every year: parents intend to register on the first day of school, but due to insufficient enrollment, we already have canceled this level’s class. It is too late to register on the first day of class. Please register early.
3.我报的班级肯定能开班吗？
A:是否能顺利开班要看报名情况。通常的原则是：报名人数超过4人（包括4人）就可以开班。另外由于目前政府有关社交距离的规定，我们每个班级人数不可以超过12人，所以根据报名人数，我们可能会增加同一年级的班级数量（比如二年级A班、B班、C班等），教室小班和网络小班一样。我们将根据报名顺序首先将孩子编入班级A（12个名额），B班、C班等的上课时间等就可能会有调整，请家长们体谅今年防疫的特殊情况。
请注意：报名人数不够的话某个年级会取消，特别是高年级的学生请一定要尽早报名。每年都会发生这样的情况：家长打算开学当日再来报名，但是某个高年级由于报名人数不够，我们已经取消了这个高年级的中文班，当家长和学生开学当日得知这个班级取消时，这是非常遗憾的。报名请尽早。
4.If my registered class is cancelled, will you notify me?
A:If the class you registered does not form, we will contact you in time to discuss whether you can change the time or the campus. This Fall, you can consider whether you can change the class method (in-person in classroom or online).

5.Can I use credit for Fall registration? How much credit is there from my child's spring tuition?
A:: After we suspend classroom teaching in spring, every student has credit. Some students have already used in spring and summer online classes. You can call us to ask how many credits your child can deduct for the Fall tuition.
5.秋季报名可以用credit吗？我孩子春季学费还有多少credit?
A:春季我们停课后每个学生都有credit, 有的学生已经用在了春季网课和夏季网课上，您可以给我们打电话咨询您孩子有多少credit可以抵扣秋季学费。
6.Why is there no "cash " payment method on this year's registration form?
A: Due to the control of the epidemic this year, SD43 currently only accepts two payment methods, cheque and credit card.

7.How to register?
A:Since we are not currently run the class at two campuses, we cannot receive the registration form as before the pandemic. There are several ways to register:
(1) Please download the registration form in the attachment, fill it out and send it back to us directly.
(2) You can also register by phone. 604-716-5118/778-317-1028.
(3) At the request of some parents, we will receive the registration form on-site on July 25 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the parking lot of the Winslow campus. At that time, we will continue to abide by the relevant regulations of BC, such as maintaining social distance, wearing masks, using personal own stationery (pen), etc., one time only.
7.如何报名？
A:由于我们目前没有在两个校区开课，所以不能像疫情前一样收报名表。有以下几种方式报名：

8.I plan to pay a check, how do I proceed?
A:If you pay cheques, there are two ways:
(1) Please send us the completed registration form (electronic version), then print a copy and send it directly to the SD43 along with the check. Address: 1100 Winslow Avenue, Coquitlam, BC. V3J 2G3. Please indicate to the recipient: Attn: Confucius Institute.
(2) You can also submit the registration form directly to the Winslow campus on July 25th from 10am to 1pm.
8.我打算付支票，如何操作？
A:由于我们目前没有在两个校区开课，不能随时接收支票，所以如果您付支票，有两个方式：

9.Are the health measures for Fall consistent with public schools?
A:We will take the same measures as the schools under SD43. For example, right now parents cannot enter the school, they can only drop off their children to the gate and be brought into the classroom by the teacher. Since BC is reopening gradually and the Chinese class will begin at the end of September, so we are still unable to determine certain specific measures right now. Once determined, we will notify you in time.
9.秋季开学的健康措施是否和公立学校一致？

10. How old are the students in the programs?
A: We accept students ranging in age from four years and older to adult

11. What kind of courses do you offer?

12. When do the classes start?
A: The classes start every September and February. Every semester contains 16 sessions. (Adult class will have 14 sessions).

A: Every class will have a maximum of 16 students and the Adult conversation class will have 10 students.
